A men’s 14k yellow gold wedding ring inlaid with ancient kauri wood.

Ancient kauri wood is a very special type of wood that we feel privileged to use. Ancient kauri are prehistoric kauri trees that were buried and preserved in peat bogs between 30,000 and 50,000 years ago. They come from the Northern Island of New Zealand. Some of these trees were nearly 2000 years old at the time of their burial, and had trunks that were 40 feet in diameter and 200 feet tall. This wood remained well preserved in bogs for tens of thousands of years before recently being found.
